Terms & Conditions

• I acknowledge as team leader my team enter the Cardboard Boat Race at their own risk and that Bideford Rotary Club and the members and other representatives are not liable for any loss, accidental death or damage that may be sustained as a result of activities forming part of the Cardboard Boat Race however arising.
• I confirm that my team members are aware of these conditions and have agreed to me signing on their behalf.
• I also confirm that I am not aware of any medical condition or health problem on behalf of myself or any of my team members that would preclude or make more dangerous our participation in the event.
• I agree to photos being taken of my boat and my team and being used for publicity purposes.
• I have read and agree to the boat building rules (linked here)
• YOUTH ENTRIES: I confirm that none of my team members are under 10. If they are aged 10-16 inclusive, I will sign a consent form as the parent or will obtain written parental consent for any team members aged 10-16 inclusive to allow them to compete in the event and as team leader for me to act in loco parentis. As parent or as team leader in loco parentis, I will be responsible for the supervision of all team members aged 10-16 throughout the event.
